Fred Astaire: Three Of My Favorite Dance Scenes That Do Not Include Ginger

Throughout his career, Fred Astaire had over one hundred and fifty solo and partnered dances in his thirty one Hollywood musical comedy films and his several television specials and appearances. In honor of his birthday, May 10, 1899, these are three of my favorites that do not include Ginger.

Fred astaire and Cyd Charisse, 'Dancing In The Dark' from "The Band Wagon" (1953)

Fred Astaire with Rita Hayworth, 'I'm Old Fashioned' from "You Were Never Lovelier" (1942)

Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell, the greatest tap dance duet ever, 'Begin The Beguine' from "The Broadway Melody of 1940" (1940)
